Howard Thurman (1900-1981) was the first black dean of Marsh Chapel at Boston University and co-founder of the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples in San Francisco, California, the first inter-racially copastored church in America. Uncommon in the first edition, this was later reprinted by Harper & Brothers. Near Fine with toning to spine, edges of boards and lightly so to pages, in a Very Good dust jacket, chipped at edges, tiny interior chip with stain, starting along folds.
